Approach
J. Aponte & Associates believes that the best experience and outcomes are achieved when attorneys and clients maintain open lines of communication and work collaboratively together. We realize that immigration processes can seem obtuse, so our approach is to provide as much visibility into the process as possible. We believe in sharing information, knowledge and tools clients can use to manage internal immigration activities. We also believe in teaching our clients about the process so that they can accomplish many immigration activities themselves.
As part of our standard approach to our work, we offer the following client services:
- Prepare customized status reports
- Monitor status expiration dates, priority dates, age out dates, etc.
- Proactively work with clients to meet government deadlines
- Provide guidance in maintaining public access files and records
- Effectively develop legal strategy of new hire matters with a view to permanent residence
- Conduct audits of completed Form I-9, Employment Eligibility Verification, and make recommendations on improving corporate processes
- Provide training and workshops on accurately completing Form I-9, Employment Eligibility Verification
- Offer client-specific immigration law training
- Develop corporate immigration law policies and processes
