Julie Aponte, Esq., Managing Director

Ms. Aponte has extensive years of experience providing strategic legal counsel for complex immigration matters for global multi-billion dollar corporations and their professional and executive-level employees..  Her past experience includes managing the high pace, high volume environment for immigration services for multinational corporations with a volume of 250 to 600 cases each, and managing the preparation and review of more than 1,200 employment-based immigration cases annually.  She also created a firm-wide process for conducting an unprecedented audit project of 17,000 Form I-9 Employment Eligibility Verification documents to ensure corporate compliance and mitigate possible sanctions.

Ms. Aponte’s prior employment experience includes serving as a Senior Associate with Fragomen, Del Rey, Bernsen & Loewy, LLP, a leading national immigration law firm, where she was employed for nearly nine years and serving as an Associate in the immigration law section of  Paul, Hastings, Janofsky & Walker, LLP.

Ms. Aponte is a member of American Immigration Lawyers Association, Chicago Bar Association, and German American Chamber of Commerce.  Ms. Aponte has presented at various American Immigration Lawyers Association seminars and conferences and at American Council on International Personnel seminars.

Ms. Aponte graduated cum laude from Tulane University Law School and earned her bachelor’s degree cum laude from Marquette University. Based on her successful academic career at Marquette University, she was elected a member of Phi Beta Kappa.
